Peacebuilding and the arts is a translation and communication of ideas through manipulation, experimentation, and innovation of different art tools and materials. It is also an exploration of interest, knowledge and skills on different visual arts activities and peacebuilding courses.

The participants would expand and deepen their interest and concern with more people in different beliefs, religion, practices and culture from different groups, communities and nationalities.

Peacebuilding and the arts is an exciting field to explore, discover, and experience. It plays a very important role to promote culture of peace. Also, it clarifies and strengthen, what the participants experienced and learned from other peacebuilding courses and activities.

Visual arts in particular is one of the best tool for projecting issues, and the artists have a great role in both peace education and therapy, as many have been affected by the violence, discrimination, isolation, biases, prejudices and injustices in the world today. Visual arts can convey a concept, a feeling and ideas which may be difficult to express in words or in actions.

It can be a self-expression and at the same time a forceful medium to mirror the source of conflict, biases, prejudices and injustices with their resolutions and healing process.

No basic skills required for the participants, only visual arts interest and vision for world peace.

"Visual arts can convey a concept, a feeling and ideas which may be difficult to express in words or in actions."
